Payment Solutions for High-Risk Industries
Mainstream payment providers often restrict or decline businesses based on their products, business models, target markets or operational exposure. Niftipay assesses eligible businesses individually rather than applying blanket exclusions. Available payment methods and commercial conditions, including card and crypto options, are confirmed during onboarding once a business has been reviewed.
Payment solutions by industry
Each industry has different eligibility, underwriting and payment requirements. Niftipay lists an industry here only once its support has been confirmed, so this section will grow over time.
Why some industries need specialist payment processing
Some industries require closer review before a payment provider will support them. Mainstream processors are built for standard retail, and when a business falls outside that profile they often apply tighter underwriting, extra restrictions, or decline the account rather than reviewing it individually.
- Product classificationWhat a business sells, and how it is classified, shapes how the application is reviewed.
- Business modelSubscription, one-off sales, marketplace and platform models are each assessed on their own terms.
- Target marketsThe markets and customer base a business sells into form part of the eligibility review.
- Regulatory and operational exposureRegulatory oversight and operational factors are reviewed alongside the business model and target markets.
Card and crypto payment options for eligible merchants
Card and crypto acceptance in one setup is a core Niftipay capability for complex and high-risk businesses. Eligible merchants may be able to accept supported card and digital-wallet payments, supported cryptocurrencies and stablecoins, or both, depending on the approved account configuration. Integration options include WooCommerce, PrestaShop, hosted checkout, payment links and a REST API.
Available payment methods depend on the business review and the approved account configuration.
- Card PaymentsEligible merchants may be able to accept supported card and digital-wallet payments following approval.
- Crypto PaymentsEligible merchants may be able to accept supported cryptocurrencies and stablecoins following approval.
Every business is reviewed individually
Niftipay does not apply a blanket exclusion list. Each application goes through the same core review, regardless of industry, and the specific requirements are confirmed as part of that process.
- Business and KYB informationApplicants provide core business details as part of a manual KYB review.
