Supplements Payment Gateway: Accept Card, Crypto and Stablecoin Payments

Accept card, crypto and stablecoin payments from your supplement and nutraceutical customers through a checkout hosted by Niftipay. Connect it to your WooCommerce or PrestaShop store, send payment links or build on the REST API, and follow each payment from your dashboard. Payments are enabled once your business has been reviewed and approved.

Supplement payments with Niftipay

Supplement and nutraceutical payment processing in one account

Niftipay gives supplement and nutraceutical brands card and crypto acceptance in one setup, so your customers can pay by card, cryptocurrency or stablecoin. Payments run through a checkout hosted by Niftipay and connect to the store, payment links or systems you already use.

Supplement businesses are reviewed on their products, claims, sales model and target markets before payments are enabled. If you want to understand what payment providers look at, read why payment processors decline supplement and nutraceutical merchants.

How Niftipay reviews your business

What a payment processor looks at in a supplement application

Supplement and nutraceutical businesses are reviewed in three areas before payments are enabled. Being in an eligible sector does not mean every application is approved.

Payment Methods

Card and crypto payment methods for supplement brands

Offer your customers the ways they already pay: Visa and Mastercard cards, mobile wallets where available, established cryptocurrencies and dollar-backed stablecoins. You can accept card payments, crypto and stablecoin payments, or both, in one setup.

The methods, assets and networks enabled for your account are confirmed during onboarding.

  • Card paymentsVisa and Mastercard credit, debit and prepaid cards, with Apple Pay and Google Pay where the device, issuer, country and merchant setup allow. American Express is not supported.
  • Crypto paymentsBitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Litecoin (LTC) and XRP. The customer selects one asset per order at checkout.
  • Stablecoin paymentsTether (USDT) and USD Coin (USDC), both on the Ethereum ERC-20 network only.
How payments are taken

Built for individual supplement orders

Every Niftipay payment is a separate transaction that the customer completes at checkout, whether it is a first order, a bundle or a repeat purchase. Niftipay does not charge customers automatically on a recurring basis, so if your model depends on subscribe-and-save, autoship or free-trial rebilling, raise it before you apply.

  • Card paymentsEach payment is taken as an individual transaction. Card details are not stored, and there is no card-on-file or recurring billing option.
  • Crypto paymentsEach payment is a separate order that the customer pays from their own wallet.
  • Payment linksA card payment link collects a single payment for invoices, remote sales or orders agreed by email, chat or telephone.
  • RefundsCard payments can be refunded in full or in part. Crypto refunds follow a separate process (see Payment controls below).
Customer checkout

What your customers see at checkout

Card customers enter their details on a payment page hosted by Niftipay rather than on your own site, with Apple Pay and Google Pay shown where their device and card support them.

Crypto payments use a checkout hosted by Niftipay, so you do not need to build your own payment screen. Prices can be shown in supported fiat currencies, and Niftipay calculates the equivalent amount in the asset the customer chooses. You receive that same asset in your Niftipay balance.

Each payment page shows the selected asset, the required network, the amount, the wallet address, a QR code for mobile wallets and the order reference. Funds sent on the wrong asset or network may be unrecoverable, which is why every checkout names a single asset and network.

Every crypto order carries a status that you can check in the merchant dashboard or through the API. Begin fulfilment only once an order has reached the paid state.

  • Order IDEach payment is tied to the order reference used in your own system.
  • Transaction hashThe blockchain transaction hash is available for the payment.
  • Payment statusThe current status is available from the merchant dashboard and through the API.
  • Webhook updatesStatus changes are pushed to your ecommerce platform or connected system.
Integrations

Connect your supplement store to Niftipay

Add a payment gateway for supplements to the platform you already sell on. WooCommerce and PrestaShop have dedicated plugins. Magento, custom stores and platforms connect through the REST API and webhooks.

If you would rather not build anything, hosted checkout and payment links work without development, and crypto orders can also be paid by QR code. Integration credentials are issued once your business has been approved.

Application Process

How the application and review work

Card and crypto payments are both enabled only after know-your-business verification and a compliance review, carried out manually by a person rather than an automated score. Applications are normally reviewed within two to five business days; complex business models or requests for additional documentation can take longer. Approval is not guaranteed, and the markets you can sell into are confirmed for your specific business during onboarding.

  • 1. Create a Niftipay accountStart at sign-up with your company details.
  • 2. Share ownership informationDirectors, and any shareholder or beneficial owner holding 25% or more.
  • 3. Describe how you sellYour website, products, target markets, expected processing volume and payment flow.
  • 4. Complete KYB and compliance reviewAdditional documents may be requested depending on your products and markets.
  • 5. Confirm terms and integratePayment methods, commercial terms and integration details are confirmed before you start processing.
Payment Controls

Payment security, refunds and disputes

3D Secure is applied to card payments when the issuing bank or the transaction requires it; the issuer, not the merchant, makes that decision. Commercial terms, including pricing, settlement and reserve conditions, are confirmed during onboarding and set out on the Card Payments and Crypto Payments pages.

  • Card disputesThe dashboard shows the status of a disputed card payment, but the merchant prepares and submits the evidence. Niftipay does not file the defence.
  • Card refundsFull and partial refunds are issued from the original payment flow.
  • Crypto refundsSent to a validated wallet address supplied for the refund. Network fees can affect the amount delivered, and refunds are not returned automatically to the sending wallet.
  • Account protectionTwo-factor authentication is available for merchant accounts and is required when authorising withdrawals.
