> Get your account ready to accept crypto & fiat payments and create your first payment.

# Getting Started

Welcome to **Niftipay** — a payment gateway that lets you:

* Accept **crypto** payments (invoice / QR flow)
* Accept **fiat card** payments
* Create **on-ramping** orders (fiat → crypto)

This guide gets you from zero to your first successful transaction.

## 1) Create an account

1. Sign up on the dashboard.
2. Verify your email.
3. Log in and open your **Dashboard**.

Once you’re logged in, your account has a set of configuration flags and compliance state that your integration should respect.

## 2) Get your API Key

Before enabling payouts/withdrawals and some flows, you need to get an API Key.

* Go to your account > settings and generate a new API Key
* Generate a new webhook and its secret
* Generate a FIAT integration
